Great game

Great game, decent length of campaign and is just in general a lot of fun. Can get a little frustrating w the chance element but youll get over it. Id suggest this game to anyone.

Fantastic

Great game that at time will really test your patience and how many times you are able to handle failing. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who will persevere and has time on their hands as it is fairly addicting. Great game!

Its almost there.. Just a little too "out there"

I want to really like this game, I do. But the constant insta-deaths because of a hidden roulette wheel in the background really dampers on the experience for me. I get the whole " oooh.. Your in space... You wont survive..." But when I get into a certain distance from my ending and get railroaded into a "you lost fuel" (which happens a lot) this just keeps it from being a great game in my opinion. If you bring back god mode or something to alleviate the randomness of the death endings, Id be happy.

Love it, but...

For the longest time, Ive been searching for a great game that will keep me entertained and challenge me just enough to where the rewards dont come easy, but not enough where I dont want to play anymore. Out There is just that. I love the simplicity, colors, mechanics, and the overall feel! I can play this over and over again and still have fun. The only thing holding me back from making this a five star game is because it keeps crashing on me. Sometimes when this happens it wont be anything more than a set back by one planet, but other times itll happen when I take a risk and succeed, only to try again after the reset and lose. Additionally, if you try to skip dialogue by tapping quickly, itll mess up the conversation to when you tap (to proceed) itll quickly show the dialogue box and go back to empty space. Overall, this is a great game that is well worth the price! Hopefully these bugs get resolved soon, but dont let that turn you away.

Needs a God mode

This game is really cool and i love the whole concept of the game but it kills it for me because i cant really enjoy the game. Reason being is because no matter how hard i try to conserve fuel no matter what i continuously run out. Even though i make it my soul mission to conserve fuel, i run out. I really want to enjoy it it but this game has limited game play.

Worst game ever

Doesnt even start it just crashes at the start menu I cant do any thing

Not fun at all

You always run out of fuel and die, losing all progress and starting a new game, terrible game idea

Great game

This game is fantastic and realistic, the only one thing that I dont like is the random event, it was annoying because my drill broken and I dont have Fe and Si to repair it

This game is amazing

Truly, truly one of the best space games I have ever played, regardless of platform. The atmosphere is stunning, and the music is engrossing, mystifying, and simply awesome. Easily one of the best iOS games of all time.

Fun and challenging

I love this game.

Quality Game

Worth every cent

Error, please fix

I have had this game for a long time, and I love it dearly, but there is a critical error that needs to be fixed. When I destroyed the enemy star system, therefore getting one of the "endings" the game changed every line of dialog to "the alien places something on the ground and runs away." Please fix the update as soon as you can.

New release is buggy

I got to play around with the new technologies. And, they are very useful. I like the idea of having a lore friendly way to "save" your game. The added space module is a game changer! Wow. However, this release is very buggy. After a few planets and gaining a few technologies I wasnt able to access any technologies. That means that when my fuel probes broke I could not rebuild them. I jumped as quickly as I could to judges/architects and they put me out of my misery. While they were telling me about how theyre the greatest in the universe, they also kept putting things on the ground and running away. Great game. Especially if it is on sale! Fix the bugs, devs. Im sure you will…

Save game disappeared

This may have to do with the latest update that allows you to find your ship on the next play through but after 4 hours of play the next day my save file is gone.....

Awesome game

Bit of a learning curve -- once youve got it the game will immerse you. Buy it.

Better than this!

Would be 5 stars, but a persistent bug has ruined the game. The Technologies menu fails to open, so I cant build the tools I need to play :( please fix soon! Otherwise... Amazing game, very addictive, hours of intrigue.

Minor bug

Getting the same bug as those below (where suddenly tech disappears). However, the game is so good I still gave it 5 stars. The main reason is replayability. So addicting!

Very good game, but some issues

Overall, I would say I greatly enjoyed Out There. Well worth the $5. Pros: - Very interesting alien interaction system, you start out not knowing what to say to them and tend to only get a positive result half the time, but as you encounter more you learn their language and can consistently pick the right option, guaranteeing an Omega or a technology or two. - The way different systems interact. You have to strategically map out your ship so that the more important ones (space folder, interplanetary, shields) have more empty space around them for future upgrades. - Different endings. I like the idea of getting to choose which path you take - Great soundtrack and visuals, for a phone game I was pleasantly surprised - Uses less battery than other good mobile games like Hearthstone Cons: - Somewhat buggy. The bugs are only rarely gamebreaking (for example, being warped out from a random encounter to a distant system, where space between stars is massive, only to find out you literally cant leave it since you havent found any tech to upgrade your space folder yet) as well as a bug i encountered with a certain ending where all the text is replaced with the aliens place something on the ground and run away... This was incredibly frustrating - A lot of mechanics are not explained whatsoever. It will take a good 10-15 attempts before you even understand most of the game mechanics, I found this to be a huge issue in the case of system synergy and the system of diminishing returns upon resource collection - Most ships dont have enough space. Literally there are only two ships that can possibly get you to the endgame consistently, because they are the only ones with enough space to. I LOVE the ship variety but find it very sad I cant use some of them at all (for example, Firefly and the cross-shaped one) because theres no space to have both systems and resources at the same time, and considering how much fuel a ship requires, its always necessary to have 1-2 slots open at all times to store that when you come across it. Firefly is an awesome concept for a ship but it is rendered entirely obsolete by the Inferometer, since the fireflys only purpose is scouting (please change firefly so it comes with a geo scanner too! Then it can actually do something) - Difficulty, I think this is both a pro and a con. I guess it depends who you ask. Overall a good game, I would have rated it 4.5 stars if I could, it does have problems but those problems definitely do not prevent thorough enjoyment of the game.

Good Game, Massive Bugs

I managed to make it to the green ending, only to have all the dialogue overwrite itself to the ending of the I-Give-You-Omega-Because-Im-Afraid dialogue. It was extremely disappointing and I probably wont play this game again.

Out There

This latest update has made it so that I cant start a new game on my iPhone 5 w/ iOS 7.1.2 - and while I was finishing up my previous game that I was in the middle of when the update hit, the game just kept crashing (which is what made me want to try a new game - I havent been able to play since). I hope that the developers can fix whatever they messed up with this latest update - seems like quite a few people are having quite a few issues...
